All About Courage

$3.00
Translation missing: en.products.product.view_full_details

Courage is the inner strength that compels a person to act according to their values, even in the face of fear or uncertainty. It involves more than merely appearing brave — it means confronting challenges and persisting despite feelings of doubt. Research shows that support from both mothers and fathers that encourages independence is positively related to greater courage in adolescents.

The All About Courage handout helps clients understand their fears and teaches them how to overcome them to build courage. It includes 13 practical acts of courage, like learning to say “no” and not letting failures stop them from reaching their goals. It also provides tips for building courage and ends with an inspiring quote for motivation.

Applying the tips from this handout allows kids and teens to gain a new perspective, step out of their comfort zones, and inspire others to do the same. Caring adults can demonstrate courage in their own lives by showing how they handle fears and uncertainties.

This handout pairs nicely with our 2-page Courage Worksheets.
