Courage Worksheets (2 Pages)

Courage has often been seen as bravery in the face of danger, but it also means speaking up, staying true to values, and taking action even when it’s uncomfortable. It can show up in everyday choices, such as admitting a mistake or sharing your honest thoughts and feelings. Courage is less about being fearless and more about moving forward despite feeling uncertain.
The Courage Worksheets are created to help clients explore what it really means to be brave. The Building Courage worksheet begins with a self-checklist of brave actions and guides clients to identify one way to grow their courage. The Practicing Courage worksheet presents real-life situations, invites clients to consider how they would respond, and concludes with a matching activity that connects each act of courage to its example.
Answering these worksheets shows kids and teens that courage is about taking action. They can start by recalling moments when they’ve shown bravery and reflecting on what made those actions possible.
These worksheets can be paired with our All About Courage handout to support learning.
