Practicing integrity means being honest, taking responsibility, and making choices that match your values instead of what’s easiest. With so many social pressures coming their way, integrity might be challenging for young people to develop. Thankfully, many school programs and community efforts focus on teaching integrity so that it becomes a skill and not just an ideal.
The Integrity Worksheets help clients stay true to their values when facing challenges. In the Building Integrity worksheet, they can rate how often they show integrity, create an action plan for areas they want to improve, and reflect on integrity-related situations. The Showing Integrity worksheet guides clients in planning how they would handle challenges that put their integrity to the test.
Completing these activities helps kids and teens understand that integrity is about making choices that match their values even when no one is watching. They can also write about real-life moments when they made the right choice or imagine how they would handle difficult situations.
Caring adults can also share examples of people who stayed true to their word to inspire children to follow the same path.
