Conflict Resolution Worksheets (4 Pages)

Conflict resolution isn’t just about saying “sorry” or moving on—it’s about understanding what happened, how it made us feel, and what can be done next. This skill takes practice, and these worksheets are designed to guide clients through the process in a thoughtful and relatable way.
The Conflict Resolution Worksheets include three separate worksheets and an additional example page illustrating a 4-step conflict resolution process. The Conflict Resoluton worksheet encourages clients to reflect on their emotions, responses, and healthy resolution strategies. The Conflict Resolution Self-Assessment helps them build self-awarenes on their current strengths and weaknesses related to conflict resolution. Using “I” Statements focuses on practicing respectful communication by replacing blaming language with “I” statements.
Answering these worksheets helps young people feel more prepared to handle conflict without escalating it. A great starting point is the example page, which when paired with the Conflict Resolution worksheet offers a clear model they can follow when reflecting on their own experiences.
Caring adults can also take part by sharing how they manage conflicts and using the “I” statement activity for group discussions or role-playing.
These worksheets pair well with our How To Resolve Conflict With Others handout.
