



Sleep is vital for everyone, regardless of their age. Kids and teens, in particular, need quality sleep for their developing brains. Insufficient sleep puts them at risk of obesity, learning and memory problems, and frequent infections (e.g., the common cold).
This handout teaches kids and teens about sleep hygiene. On the upper half of the handout, they’ll see the different benefits of good sleep with an explanation for each. On the lower half, they’ll find their recommended sleeping hours (based on age) and some do’s and don’ts to follow!
