The “middle path” is a concept in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Walking the middle path simply means that a person can find a balance between opposite ideas. In other words, it avoids an all-or-nothing or a black-and-white thinking pattern.
This handout is a valuable resource that shows kids, teens, and young adults how they can find the middle path. This way, they will be able to make room for compromise and cope with difficult situations.
