Self-Care Alphabet

Self-care means doing small things every day that help us feel good in our bodies and minds. It can be as simple as taking deep breaths, moving around, or enjoying activities that bring happiness. Since everyone is different, having a variety of self-care ideas can help clients discover what works best for them.
The Self-Care Alphabet presents self-care ideas in a fun A-to-Z format. Each letter features a simple activity, with bright colors and engaging visuals to grab attention. The easy layout helps clients realize that self-care can be both simple and enjoyable.
Keeping this chart nearby can inspire kids and teens to try new ways of taking care of themselves. They can create their own alphabet list, set small goals for the week, or pick a favorite letter to follow each day.
Caring adults can support their child by starting discussions about self-care, making a self-care station at home or in class, and helping kids notice which activities make them feel calm and happy.
We also offer a Self-Esteem Alphabet for those looking to build self-esteem.

I bought this to share at group time. I love this resource! I would love to see a black and white version included with the color for the ease of copying!
Thanks for sharing how you're using this in group settings, Jen. We appreciate your 5-star review! Great tip about printing in black and white for easier copying. While we don't include separate black and white versions, you can easily print any of our colorful PDFs in grayscale. In Adobe Reader, go to File > Print and check 'Print in grayscale.' For Mac Preview, click File > Print, then select 'Black and White' from the color dropdown. If those options don't appear, look in your printer's Properties or Preferences for 'Print in Grayscale' or 'Black and White' settings. Most printers handle this beautifully, giving you crisp black and white copies perfect for group handouts.
It’s nice
Amazing for all students!
I have used this for my co-workers, clients/patients, and my support group attendants. Gives so many ideas for coping skills instead of just the quick go to ones.
