Taking care of yourself is extremely important to help you recover from trauma. If you’re working with or trying to help a child or teenager improve their self-care, use this Trauma Self-Care Checklist so they plan and track healthy habits throughout the week.
To help them get started, they can refer to the “Ideas for Self-Care” at the bottom section of the checklist. Next, they need to write down a self-care strategy on the checklist and check each day of the week if they were able to practice it.
