Self-Esteem Coping Statements
Self-esteem coping statements are affirmations that kids and teens can use to challenge negative thinking and help them feel good about themselves. A self-esteem coping statement can be as simple as "I'm stronger than I think."
If you are dealing with a young person who's struggling with low self-esteem or who tends to be self-critical, use this worksheet as a therapeutic tool. This worksheet contains several coping statements for kids and teens to choose from and recite whenever they feel unsure, anxious, or afraid.
There are also three empty speech bubbles where they need to write down a coping statement that they believe will help boost their self-esteem.
