Self-esteem coping statements are affirmations that kids and teens can use to challenge negative thinking and help them feel good about themselves. A self-esteem coping statement can be as simple as "I'm stronger than I think."
If you are dealing with a young person who's struggling with low self-esteem or who tends to be self-critical, use this worksheet as a therapeutic tool. This worksheet contains several coping statements for kids and teens to choose from and recite whenever they feel unsure, anxious, or afraid.
