SMART in goal-setting means Specific, Measurable, Achievable, and Time-Bound. By using this concept, young people can easily monitor their progress in pursuing something — whether that’s learning a new skill or completing a school project.
We have put together this SMART goals handout for kids and teens to learn what it takes to create SMART goals. It includes helpful questions they can ask themselves and a list of do’s and don’ts to increase their chances of success.
