Self-Esteem Checklist
Improving self-esteem involves regularly reflecting on emotions and the things that influence them. While it can be challenging, it remains an important practice, especially when individuals face situations that may negatively impact their confidence, such as peer pressure or academic stress.
The Self-Esteem Checklist provides clients with an opportunity to assess their self-esteem through the lens of self-care. It features a daily checklist that lets them note the different self-care activities they’ve engaged in, such as exercising, practicing deep breathing, and making a gratitude list.
By using this checklist, kids and teens may find it easier to monitor their personal growth with self-care and maintain positive and healthy habits. Regularly completing the worksheet allows them to improve in various areas.
Parents and educators can encourage the weekly use of the checklist to help children assess their progress and offer guidance. They can also suggest having a “self-esteem buddy” system, where kids or teens pair up with a friend to share their goals with and check in with each other.
