Responsibility Worksheets (2 Pages)

Taking responsibility is more than just doing chores or following rules — it’s about being someone others can rely on and trust. It involves showing care through actions, making thoughtful choices, and following through even when things feel challenging. Being responsible doesn’t always come naturally — we learn and practice it over time.

The Responsibility Worksheets include two complementary worksheet pages. The Practicing Responsibility worksheet invites clients to decide whether an action shows responsibility or not, and reflect on scenarios that allow them to think more deeply. On the Responsibility In Action worksheet they answer more relevant questions and identify the benefits of responsibility.

After completing these worksheets, responsibility can start to feel less like a chore and more like a meaningful personal goal. Caring adults can set up a time to check-in each week where everyone shares one thing they committed to and how it went, or times they followed through with something without being asked.

These worksheets pair nicely with our All About Responsibility handout to supplement the learning process.
