Positive Self-Talk for Anxiety
Kids who practice positive self-talk are better equipped to handle challenges in life and they’re also more likely to focus on the bright side of things. As a parent, teacher, social worker, or mental health professional, you may use this worksheet for a child to identify positive messages they can tell themselves.
All they need to do is color the statement bubbles with positive messages while ignoring the bubbles with negative messages. After coloring the positive statements, ask them to write their top 3 positive statements that help them feel good about themselves.
