My Strengths Worksheet
Everyone has unique strengths that can help them succeed in different areas of life. Many people aren’t aware of their strengths, but recognizing them is important because, without this self-awareness, they might struggle with low confidence and become more susceptible to peer pressure.
The My Strengths Worksheet is an activity for clients to discover and reflect on strengths they might not realize they have. It includes a list of strengths they can check off if they believe they possess them, and then create a simple plan to develop them further.
Engaging with this worksheet helps kids and teens acknowledge their personal strengths rather than weaknesses, tap into these, and live a more fulfilling life. Once they understand what they're good at, they can start making important life choices with greater confidence. As they succeed in these areas, they can reflect on their achievements and use this momentum to continue growing and setting new goals.
Parents and teachers can use this worksheet as a tool to guide and assess how well young people understand their strengths. After reviewing their responses, they can offer support and encouragement.
