My Dreams List

Children often dream big, but without guidance, those dreams can feel out of reach. Without a clear vision, they may struggle with a lack of direction, feel unmotivated, and overlook their own potential. This can lead to missed opportunities and can limit their ability to pursue their passion with confidence and determination.

The My Dreams List worksheet prompts clients to think carefully about the big goals they truly want to achieve by eliminating the word "impossible." They can list up to 20 things which could include their accomplishments, education, health, travel, or hobbies, and then try to draw some of the dreams that are being accomplished in the box provided.

This worksheet encourages kids and teens to put their dreams into words, so they can turn them into clear goals they can work toward. For example, articulating goals like "I want to become one of the best doctors in the country" makes the goal feel more tangible and gives them a clear direction to follow.

Parents and teachers can guide kids in breaking down their dreams into manageable steps. Moreover, providing feedback and celebrating small milestones can also enhance their motivation and keep them focused.
