Feelings Wheel for Kids
A feelings wheel or an emotions wheel is a tool that allows individuals to pinpoint specific emotions they’re having. The goal of a feelings wheel is to describe feelings, which helps the person understand the cause of those feelings and learn how to respond or cope.
This handout is a therapeutic tool that can be used by parents, teachers, social workers, and mental health professionals to guide children who are struggling to express themselves.

I was looking for a feelings wheel that felt more approachable and tangible for 6th and 7th graders. Sometimes the feelings wheels that are available can cause stress just by looking at all of the words and layout.
This feelings wheel provides a face to go with each feeling and provides a starting bank of feeling words that can be added on to later. Also, I appreciated the addition of "peaceful" which is not on every wheel. I might want to add another category labeled "disgust" as there are feelings associated with disgust thst can be different from anger, fear, or sadness.
I'm excited to use this!
