All About Acceptance & Diversity

$3.00
Translation missing: en.products.product.view_full_details

Accepting diversity means appreciating and valuing everyone's unique differences, including their gender, ethnicity, religion, and background. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect regardless of these differences. Research shows that schools with students from various backgrounds teaching about different cultures may help promote positive interactions and relationships.

The All About Acceptance and Diversity handout helps clients identify and confront their biases so they can correct them early on. It explains what an inclusive environment looks and feels like and defines diversity. Additionally, it introduces the acronym ACT, which teaches them about kindness.

Young people using this handout can broaden their understanding of the world and learn to appreciate cultural and identity differences, which helps them become more welcoming to everyone. To support a child’s learning of acceptance and diversity, feel free to add on our 3-page Accepting Differences Worksheets, which include an Acceptance Pledge and other worksheet activities.
