How to Cope with Bullying

Bullying is a serious issue, yet many kids and teens choose not to report it. The fact is that every child can be at risk of getting targeted for bullying regardless of their looks, background, or personality. This only suggests how important it is for young people to learn effective coping methods.
The How to Cope with Bullying handout provides guidance for young clients to deal with bullying situations. It helps them identify different forms of bullying — physical, verbal, or cyber — and teaches assertive responses to such behavior. This handout emphasizes seeking support from trusted adults and offers tips for building confidence in confronting bullies.
Using this resource can help kids and teens better manage bullying and minimize emotional harm. Parents and educators can support them by having regular check-ins or casual conversations at school or home. They can also create a safe space for open discussions about their feelings and experiences.
Our Bullying Worksheets are nice add-ons to this handout.
