All About Responsibility

Taking responsibility involves making sure that one completes their duties and is accountable for their choices. As children grow into teenagers and young adults, they are expected to handle more responsibilities. Although some may find this challenging, they can learn to adapt with proper guidance along the way.
The All About Responsibility handout helps clients understand and embrace responsibility. It explains the various types of responsibility, highlights their benefits, and provides examples of age-appropriate responsibilities. For instance, toddlers can put their toys away after playing while preschoolers can help set the table.
Using this handout helps kids and teens understand their roles within the family and build their confidence as they take on different responsibilities. Caring adults should remember that learning responsibility is a process. Be patient when your child makes mistakes and provide them with the advice and support they need to succeed.
Our Responsibility Worksheets pair nicely with this handout.
