All About Excellence

A person who pursues excellence consistently strives to do their best and remains dedicated to improving. While many people equate excellence with perfection, true excellence is about learning and growing. Research shows that academically excellent learning environments encourage innovation, which promotes student success.
The All About Excellence handout explains what excellence is and what it isn’t. Clients will find 14 tips to develop an attitude of excellence, such as setting goals, taking risks, and practicing self-care.
Kids and teens using this handout may feel motivated to push past their limits and explore new opportunities. Support from caring adults is valuable. In addition to the handout, they can provide resources such as books or movies that illustrate excellence in action.
Our Excellence Worksheets pair nicely with the information from this handout.
