Growing Stronger After Trauma Worksheets
Post-traumatic growth is a phenomenon in which a person experiences personal growth or positive change following an extremely challenging event. It acknowledges that although adversity leads to distress, it can also result in newfound perspectives and an appreciation for life.
These Growing Strong After Trauma Worksheets encourage clients to reflect on their struggles by answering a list of questions. For example, they need to identify their top 3 personal strengths, what they’ve learned from the trauma, and ways they can care for themselves for the rest of their lives.
Through this activity, kids and teens can build resilience and develop compassion towards others who are going through similar challenges. Let them know that there are no right and wrong answers. They can also express themselves in the worksheets through drawings if this helps.
