Peacemaking Worksheets (2 Pages)

Arguments and conflicts happen to everyone, whether at home, in school, or with friends. What truly matters is how we respond and that we take steps to make things better. Peacemaking is the choice to act with calmness, listen, and find a solution that works for everyone involved.

The Peacemaking Worksheets include two complementary worksheets that help clients understand and practice peaceful behaviors. The Becoming A Peacemaker worksheet focuses on recognizing actions that build or break peace and asks reflection questions. The Peacemaking Through Conflict Resolution worksheet guides clients through a basic conflict resolution process.

As kids and teens work through each part, they begin to understand that peacemaking isn’t about avoiding conflict—it’s about handling it with care and honesty. A good first step is to pause and take a breath.

To build on this lesson, caring adults can create a “peace circle,” where everyone shares a time they solved a problem or helped others resolve one. Role-playing common conflict situations is another helpful tip.

Our All About Peacemaking handout can be used to supplement learning on this topic.
