All About Kindness

Kindness is when someone willingly uses their time, skills, and resources to improve the lives of others. Research involving children aged 9–11 years old found that a kindness intervention in school improves life satisfaction and peer relationships.
The All About Kindness handout helps clients understand the importance of kindness and inspires them to actively contribute to a more empathetic and caring society. It explains the significance of being kind to others and oneself. It also includes simple tips for practicing kindness, such as saying “thank you” or writing a kind note.
Kids and teens who use this handout may inspire others to pay it forward — which creates a more supportive community. Parents and teachers can encourage them to regularly practice the tips and reflect on their experiences.
Feel free to download our Kindness Worksheets, which nicely complement this handout.
