DBT THINK Skill Worksheet

$1.99
Translation missing: en.products.product.view_full_details

When experiencing emotional overwhelm, it can be difficult to think logically, and effectively deal with conflict. The DBT THINK skill is an interpersonal effectiveness skill that focuses on conflict resolution by putting yourself in someone else’s shoes and being kind and empathetic.

The DBT THINK Skill Worksheet includes two worksheet activities that give clients opportunities to reflect on their use of the THINK skills by answering questions. They are invited to recall specific goals they’ve set for an interaction, think about what they could have done differently, and brainstorm coping skills to stay calm in the moment.

Answering these worksheets encourages kids and teens to approach conflict calmly and reduces their impulsivity. Caring adults can offer additional support and clarification while their child completes the activity.

Our DBT Think Skill handout is a helpful add-on summarizing each of the five think skills.
